For my mom’s birthday we went to Claire’s at the Museum in Long Beach. My mom went to CSULB as an art major, so we thought this would be a nice spot to have bunch. Originally we picked this place because of the view, but I was pleasantly surprised when i read their menu and found that they had a Crème brûlée French Toast made with thick slices of Hawaiian bread, served with poached Granny Smith apples, pecans, golden raisins and real maple syrup.
I am going to take moment to let that sink in while you drool over the above picture…
They also had a great country style breakfast. My wife and I both wanted to try the French Toast but we also wanted something savory so we split the country breakfast and the French toast. If you are in Long Beach and you want a nice spot to have bunch, check out Claire’s at the Museum.
