Full Moon Sushi is a great little sushi restaurant in Tustin, CA that serves decent sushi at a great price. Now by no means is Full Moon Sushi the best sushi restaurant, but it does the job when my wife and I get a sushi craving during the middle of the week and I don’t want to make a long drive to our favorite sushi slop Akasaka in Hacienda Heights. The great thing about Full Moon Sushi is my wife and I can get a quick sushi fix for under $25 for the two of us and the sushi is actually pretty good. My favorite items to eat at Full Moon Sushi is their Jalapeno Yellowtail Cut Roll, Salmon Sushi and Yellowtail Belly Sushi.
My second favorite dish is their rainbow roll and soft shell crab hand roll. Now, I if you are a high end sushi person that only goes for grade A sashimi, then I wouldn’t go to Full Moon Sushi (go to Akasaka instead). If you are the type that loves sushi in general and you don’t want to spend a ton of money, then you should try Full Moon Sushi out. Just to give you an idea, when I go to Full Moon Sushi my average bill is between $25 – $30 for two people… when I go to Akasaka our bill is usually around $60 – $80 and that is without alcohol.
